Interview with Cezar Bautista

Tell me a little bit about yourself.

I was born in the Philippines and moved to Alaska with my family when I was three years old.

I work downtown for Nordstrom as a Personal Stylist/Shopper. I've been with this amazing company for about three years and counting.

Like any other Fashionistas/Fashionistos reading and watching about the new trends and looks that are coming and happening.

I love finding amazing places to dine and wine, and can't beat doing that with great company.

Can't forget doing the Alaskan Norms when it comes to the outdoors either.

Please describe your personal style in a few sentences.

My style is best described as 'ever-changing'. A consistent style or trend on it's own. The outfit I decide is based on how I feel that morning. I can go from a white cardigan and cat print shirt during the day, but at night change to an all black, leather, and sleek look.

My style is Me; it's random, but intended.

Are there any trends that you are currently obsessed with?

For fall I'm always going to be obsessed with the perfect Fall Leather. You can never go wrong with a Leather Jacket.

Can't forget the the Boots too. Crazy about this season for the eye catching Fall/Winter footwear.

What designer mirrors your everyday style the best?

Now this is a hard question to answer. I want to say all of them; I gather my influences from the street Fashionistas/Fashionistos to the hypnotizing Catwalk.

Who is your style icon?

A few of my favorite Style Icons are Coco Roca, George Kotsiopoulos, and Alexander McQueen.

Do you have any style advice for your fellow Alaskans or the world?

Best advice I can give: "Confidence isn't just the sexiest/classiest thing you can have; it's the 'substance' that can make or break your outfit."
